Cooking Crispy Fries 101

Provided below are cooking guidelines for our frozen fries. You know your cooking appliance best. These instructions differ ever so slightly to get the crispiest results.

Here's a few tips to consider:

  • The quantity of fries you're cooking matters - full bag, full time, half bag, less time.
  • Pre-heat to full temp! It's the pathway to crispy fries!
  • Do not defrost - cook straight from frozen.
  • Where you put the pan in the oven matters! Mid-rack is best.
  • Best if fries are not touching each other - minimize overlap for more crispness.
  • WATCH THE COOKING IN THE LAST 3-5 MINUTES! You don't want to burn the fries.
  • Bake (20-25 min.)

    1. Preheat oven to 425⁰F.
    2. (Optional) Use parchment paper on the bake pan.
    3. Spread out fries on a single layer across the bake pan.
    4. Put into middle oven rack. Cook for 10-12 minutes.
    5. Give the fries a shake, a turn, a toss - whatever you need to get fries turned over
    6. If you cooked the full bag, bake for another 10-15 minutes or to desired crispiness. For half a bag, 8-10 minutes, or to desired crispiness.

  • Air Fry (15-20 min.)

    1. Preheat oven to 380⁰F to 425⁰F (you know your air fryer best).
    2. Spread out fries on a single layer across the air fryer pan.
    3. Put into middle oven rack. Cook for 10 minutes.
    4. Give the fries a shake, a turn, a toss - whatever you need to get fries turned over
    5. If you cooked the full bag, air fry for another 8-10 minutes or to desired crispiness. For half a bag, 3-6 minutes, or to desired crispiness.

  • Convection Oven (18-22 min.)

    1. Preheat oven to 400⁰F to 425⁰F.
